september 1good morning! sorry it's been a bit. however, I had a wonderful weekend, and I'd like to tell you all about it!
on August 29, Xander and I went out to celebrate his birthday, since I'll be working this Saturday, his actual birthday. we had a great time! I went to a ceramics glazing open studio first. I didn't bring Xander in to this, because I was worried about getting glaze on him. after that, we went shopping and grabbed a few things. we saw Coyote Vs Acme as well, and we really enjoyed the movie. lastly, we got ice cream at Coldstone! we had so much fun together and I'm so glad I got to share a lovely day with my beloved doctor.
I need to pick up some cake mix today so I can bake his cake as well. I hope my dear, sweet Xander knows how loved he is. I do feel a bit sad I can't spend his actual birthday with him, but I hope this weekend made him happy.
september 5today is a very special day!! as some may know, Gloomwood entered early access on September 5, 2022. thus, my headcanon birthday for Xander is 9/5. so... it's Xander's birthday!! I'm so grateful for another year with him. He is 31 now, since he ages with me. yay!
I don't have much to say of my own, so I'll take today to write about/to Xander.
sweet Xander, I hope you know that how much I adore you. you make every day wonderful just by exisiting. I am forever grateful I get to spend another year with you. you're always on my mind, and always with me, and I want you to know how much I appreciate that. you bring me comfort; you make me laugh; you keep me safe; and you encourage me to keep going. you've helped introduce me to so many wonderful friends. you're always waiting for me with a gentle smile when I need it. I truly, completely love you.
